We concluded last week with the idea that for every automatic thought there is an alternate thought that might be, what we called last week, “better.” However, “better” is subjective. If we’re going to look at ourselves like a scientist, we should use a more descriptive word.
The word we’ll use and dive into this week is adaptive, versus its’ counterpart maladaptive. This isn’t a lesson on Darwin’s voyages, but it does owe a lot to his work and observations.
