When guests come to your program for the first time, there are a few things that are important to cover:
- Who they can talk to if they have an issue with their stay (including limitations on when they are available, or who to talk to if they are not there)
- All rules that guests are subject to (which makes rules easier to communicate later)
- All services that are available (including mealtimes)
In addition, it is important that if you are the first point of contact for a new guest, that they have your undivided attention.
