Journaling is an effective way of organizing thoughts that come up throughout the day. A journal doesn’t need to be a paper book that you write on with a pen, it can be made on your computer, tablet, or phone.
For the next seven days, in whatever journaling method you prefer, respond to the following prompts (or any others you would like to think about every day):
One thing I am grateful for that
happened today
How I felt overall today
What I want to do tomorrow

Here’s a sheet that some of our clients find useful in creating a journal/planner. Some use them twice a day, once in the morning to plan, and once at the end of the day to reflect. Another way to use this is as an evening activity all at once. Like previous exercises – the perfect solution is the one you like!
